Uncover Your Life’s Why

The two most important days in our lives is the day we are born and the day we discover why.

Mark Twain said that and I find it to be a deeply personal question, one that people of all nations, all nationalities, and all religions, have asked for eons of time.  It should make us all go WOW!  You see, life is short and death is ineffable.

So what are we going to do?  We need to find our why in our life.  Like the poet Ralph Waldo Emerson once said…

The man who knows how will always have a job.  The man who knows why will always be the boss.

The person who knows why has discovered what they can do that no one else can do.  Trials and triumphs of their lives become part of the process.  And no matter how rocky, they can find their true purpose in life.  When they do, they find the what of life but they also find the why of life.

The meaning in life is to find your gift. The purpose in life is to give it away.
