Legacy

What do you want your legacy to be?  It's never too early to ask that question, and it's never too late to ask that question.  You'll be remembered for many things.  So Create A Blueprint That Will Make You Proud.

The importance of a legacy really, when you think of it, is pragmatic, but is also life-affirming.  For example, do well in school and you'll make contacts and skills that can lead to a career that is worthwhile.  Do well in school and career, and you will build memories and build friendships that will last a lifetime.

None of us can invent our legacy.  Rather, we are who we are and we do what we do.  The world assigns to us our legacy, and the best legacies are merely the innocent byproducts of a life well lived, and a heart overflowing with tender love — in your career, in your home, in your community, all of your goings and all of your comings.

So we all want it to matter that we lived it all, that we occupy space on this earth.  But it shouldn't be for personal gain that it matters, it should be for the need of knowing that when God breathed oxygen into our nostrils and gave us life, he intended for us, he intended for us to use it well.  That of course includes you.  It includes me.

Life is really your own personal journey and you explore your own path, you will craft your own legacy, and life becomes more meaningful.  A legacy is what you bequeath to humanity and its benefits will remain long after you are gone.  So make it A Legacy of Purpose, A Legacy of Usefulness, A Legacy of Service.

And make this week an extraordinary one in your life.
