๐ฎ Crystal Ball Gazing: Navigating Risk
When you face what you perceive to be a risk, ask yourself three questions:
What is the Best thing that can happen as a result of taking this action?
What is the Worst thing that can happen as a result of taking this action?
What is the Most Likely thing to happen?
If the most likely result will take you toward where you want to go, and if youโre willing to deal with the worst that could happen in exchange for what could be the best, then do it. Otherwise run and run fast.
Taking Intelligent Risks helps you overcome your fear of failure, and will whisk you out of your comfort zone. To me, comfort zones are like caves, they wonโt eliminate your path toward your better future. But reason risk-taking will shine a light, and help you find your path towards something even more purposeful, more aligned with the passion that excites your life.
So donโt play it safe, put yourself out there because no one else will put you out there but โyouโ. To do nothing will get you nowhere. Of course be responsible, of course do it in the right way with an ethical belief, of course do your homework. Talk to people you trust, then leap and watch what happens.
Win or lose, You Learn. Win or lose, You Grow. Have a great day.
