Be A Solver
You've heard me talk about the koi fish. I love koi fish. They come in different colors and so on, but you know, if you put them in a fish bowl, they never grow to more than about two inches in size. The moment you put the koi fish in a pond somewhere where the water is deeper, therefore the water is colder, the koi fish all of a sudden grows to be a foot or more in size.
What's up with that? How does that happen? Well, in the fish bowl, the koi fish doesn't need anything because someone is doing everything for it. It's protected. Someone feeds it. Someone changes its water. It has no need to grow. But the moment it's in a big pond where bigger fish can come and eat it, guess what? It has no choice, but to grow, become stronger so it can defend itself somehow.
You and I are no different. We must be stronger. We must face challenges with gusto, with faithful courage. Life sometimes will bring us problems, but we must be solvers of these problems. It’s what I call a Premier Life Skill. That's what life is, it demands of you to be bigger and stronger and deal with challenges.
You know what? When things get tough, the tough must get going. Have a great week.
