Focus
Focus is more important than intelligence. You could be the most intelligent person in the world, but if you don't have focus, you won't achieve your goals. Focus Is The Gateway to all thinking. Without it, all aspects of your ability to become successful may indeed suffer.
It's hard, I know. A swarm of technology surrounds us all, and it can rob us of our time, and even our concentration. But don't let that happen to you. Imagine your mind as a laser beam, and train it on what you need to do, and not do.
Legendary businessman Warren Buffett won't live in New York City because of the many distractions, he says. He lives in Nebraska, it's quieter there. He says he can think there. And Grammy winner producer Quincy Jones doesn't even drive a car. He never learned how. But he made great music instead, like Michael Jackson's Thriller, which has sold sixty-five million copies worldwide, and is still the best selling record of all time. Jones produced that.
So you see, focus is such a valuable asset. A highly focused person with average intelligence is likely to achieve more than a highly intelligent person with a lesser degree of focus. So don't get hung up on IQ. Work On Your Focus. You'll see results. In our competitive marketplace, life is all about results. Have a great week.
