Finding Your Path & Potential

We all admire someone, that is wired into us.  Yet, we live in a culture that worship celebrities.  And we’re told who to admire from a list that can change as quickly as our Twitter feed.

Don't buy into that.  Look for people who can give you a vision, or who you can be.  You can find them in history, read about them, understand how they succeeded, and how they failed.  Use their life as a lesson, and adopt what you believe can work for you.

Also look around you to the people you know, maybe a professor, a local business owner, a neighbor, your pastor.  Talk to them.  Ask them about their life. Hear how they came to be.  They can help guide you because they can share the journey they took, not the destination they found.

They are the Heroes, the Models, the Mentors, we all need in our lives.  We can find them in books. We can find them online. We can find them around the corner from where we live.  And they can help us find our path.  They can help us find our potential.  As Oprah Winfrey says…

A mentor is someone who allows you to see the hope inside yourself.

That Is Something We All Need to See.  Have a great day.
